Can I use this for a multi-vendor marketplace?
Not in the current version. The platform is designed for single-vendor (or single organization) ecommerce. Multi-vendor marketplace features are planned for a future release.
Can I sell both physical and digital products at the same time?
Yes. Physical and digital products can coexist in the same catalog. Mixed carts (containing both types) are supported. Shipping is only applied to physical items.
Is there a SaaS-hosted version or do I need to self-host?
Currently the platform is self-hosted only. A SaaS-managed hosting option is planned. Self-hosting gives you full control over your data.
What database does the platform require?
PostgreSQL is recommended for production. MySQL 8+ is also supported. SQLite is supported for local development and testing only.
Does the platform support multiple currencies?
Currently, one primary currency is configured at the store level and all prices are stored in that currency. Multi-currency pricing is on the roadmap.
Can I translate the storefront to multiple languages?
Language files are fully translatable. The admin panel and emails have language files in resources/lang/. Community language packs can be installed via Composer.
Where are uploaded files and images stored?
By default on the local disk at storage/app/public. For production, it is strongly recommended to configure S3 or compatible object storage for scalability and backups. Change this in Settings → Filesystems.
How often are updates released?
Feature updates are released quarterly. Security patches and bug fixes are released as needed, often within days of discovery. Active license holders receive update notifications by email.
