Point of Sale (POS) Overview

The POS module turns any browser-based device into a point-of-sale terminal for in-store or counter sales.

POS Capabilities

• Barcode scanning (USB scanner or device camera)
• Product search and quick-add
• Discounts per item or per order
• Multiple payment methods per transaction (split payment)
• Cash drawer management with open/close balances
• Customer lookup and loyalty point redemption
• Receipt printing (thermal printer compatible)
• Offline mode — queues sales when internet is unavailable, syncs when reconnected

Stock Integration

POS sales are real-time synced with the inventory system. A sale on a POS terminal immediately reduces stock in the assigned warehouse.

Multi-Register Support

Multiple registers can run simultaneously. Each register has its own cash drawer log. Individual Z-reports (end-of-day summaries) are generated per register.
