Gift Cards

Gift cards are pre-paid digital vouchers that customers can purchase and send to others as gifts.

Creating Gift Card Products

1. Create a product with type Gift Card
2. Set available denominations (e.g., $10, $25, $50, $100) or allow custom amounts
3. Configure expiry (optional: 12 months, never, etc.)

Purchasing a Gift Card

The buyer selects the denomination and optionally enters a recipient name and message. After payment, a unique gift card code is generated and emailed to the recipient.

Redeeming Gift Cards

At checkout, customers enter their gift card code in the Coupon / Gift Card field. The balance is applied as a discount. If the order total exceeds the card balance, the customer pays the difference.

Tracking Balances

Admins can view gift card balances and redemption history under License → Gift Cards.
