License Activation & Deactivation

Customer Self-Service

Customers manage their licenses from My Account → Licenses:

• View all license keys and their status
• See which domains/sites have this license activated
• Deactivate a site to free up an activation slot
• Request a license reset if lost

Admin License Management

Under License → Licenses, admins can:

• View all licenses across all customers
• See activation history (which IPs, domains, timestamps)
• Manually revoke or regenerate a license
• Override the activation limit for a specific customer

Add-on Module Licensing

If your product has add-on modules (e.g., a "Vendor Dashboard" add-on for a marketplace plugin), each add-on can have its own license within the parent product's license. The parent license governs the add-ons.

Activation Security

All activation calls are authenticated and rate-limited. The system logs every activation attempt for auditing. Suspicious activity (bulk activations from different IPs) triggers alerts.
