Chatting with Store Console AI from Telegram, Slack, Discord or WhatsApp

AI Channels

AI Channels connect a chat provider to Store Console AI. Once a provider is connected and a user is linked, that person can message the bot and get answers backed by live data from your store — sales reports, inventory levels, abandoned carts, financial accounts and more.

What your team can do from chat

  • Ask operational questions in plain language ("give me today's sales", "what is low on stock?")
  • Administrators reach the admin agent, which can act on the platform, not just read from it
  • Everyone else gets a user-scoped assistant limited to their own data and permissions

Access is per user and per role

Connecting a provider does not open the bot to everyone in your workspace. Each chat account must be explicitly linked to a Store Console user by an administrator. Whatever that user can do in the dashboard is exactly what they can do from chat — the same roles and permissions apply. Revoking someone in the dashboard revokes them in chat.

Supported providers

  • Telegram — bot token from @BotFather
  • Slack — Bot User OAuth Token with the chat:write scope
  • Discord — bot token with the Message Content intent
  • WhatsApp — Meta Cloud API access token plus a phone number ID

Privacy note

Bot tokens are stored encrypted and are never shown again after saving. Inbound webhooks are verified against a per-provider secret, so only the real provider can deliver messages to your install.
