Privacy Policy
Last updated: August 14, 2026
Store Console ("we", "us", "our") is operated from House 32, Road 29, Mirpur 12, Dhaka, Bangladesh. We respect your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains what personal data we collect through storeconsole.com (the "Site"), how we use it, the legal bases we rely on, and the rights you have. By using the Site you agree to this policy.
1. Data we collect
- Account & billing data — name, email, company, and the billing details needed to manage your subscription or licence. Card payments are entered on the secure checkout of our payment provider; we do not store your full card number.
- Usage data — pages visited, device and browser type, and IP address, collected via cookies and analytics to improve the Site.
- Communications — messages you send to sales, support, or via forms.
We do not knowingly collect data from children under 16. The self-hosted Store Console software you install runs on your own servers; we do not have access to the data your customers store there.
2. How we use your data
- To provide, maintain and improve the Site, your account and your subscription;
- To process payments and send service, security and billing communications;
- To respond to enquiries and provide support;
- With your consent, to send product updates and marketing (you can opt out anytime);
- To comply with legal obligations and prevent fraud or abuse.
3. Legal bases (GDPR)
Where the EU/UK GDPR applies, we process personal data on the bases of contract performance, our legitimate interests (running and securing the Site), your consent (marketing, non-essential cookies), and legal obligation.
4. Payments & billing
Payments for Store Console are handled by the secure payment processor shown at checkout. That processor handles payment authorization, fraud screening, and billing data under its own privacy terms; we receive only the information needed to manage your account, licence, subscription, and payment status.
5. Sharing & processors
We share data only with vetted processors who help us operate — for example our configured payment, email, hosting, and analytics providers. They are bound to use data only for the contracted service. We never sell your personal data.
6. International transfers
Your data may be processed in countries other than your own. Where required, we use appropriate safeguards such as Standard Contractual Clauses for transfers outside the EEA/UK.
7. Retention
We keep personal data only as long as needed for the purposes above and to meet legal, accounting and reporting requirements, then delete or anonymise it.
8. Your rights
Depending on your location, you may have the right to access, correct, delete, restrict, or port your data, to object to processing, and to withdraw consent. EU/UK residents may lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority. California residents (CCPA/CPRA) may request access and deletion and may opt out of any "sale" or "sharing" of personal information — we do not sell personal information. To exercise any right, email [email protected].
9. Security
We use industry-standard technical and organisational measures to protect personal data. No method of transmission or storage is 100% secure, but we work continuously to safeguard your information.
10. Changes
We may update this policy from time to time. Material changes will be posted here with a new "last updated" date.
